The Charlottesville Business Innovation Council (CBIC) will convene the second of its CxO Roundtables on Tuesday, August 11, from 8:30 to 10:00 AM. Based upon suggestions and feedback from the first such gathering in April, the topic for discussion is “Boards: Advisors, Directors or Both?” and will be moderated by Jason Hull, Principal of OpenSource Connections, LLC.

The CxO Roundtable gathers together C-level executives* of technology-driven companies to discuss a wide range of topics. Regardless of industry sector, company size or years in business, topics of common interest will include leadership, latest technologies and management practices, tax and business law, and much more. Group integrity is assured by requiring all attendees to pre-register, with each registration checked to ensure the appropriate qualifications for senior-level discourse. 

*      Qualifications:  Participants must be owners or C-level executive officers in technology-driven companies.  Examples include: owner of a software development company, executive of a company that utilizes technology to support a primary line of business, etc.

This event will be hosted by Virginia National Bank in the 2nd-floor boardroom of its Pantops Branch. A continental breakfast will be provided, thanks to event sponsor Frontline. There is no fee for CBIC and Chamber of Commerce members; the fee for non-members is $50.00 per attendee.
